Tim Cosens

Tim Cosens is an artist from London, Ontario, working with oil paints and pastel. Taking note from historic practices, Cosens uses wax in his paint to give it a certain translucency. During the summer months, Cosens paint en plein air, later using these sketches as the starting point for his larger works. Every part of a Cosens work is made by him–the oil pastels, the artwork, and the handmade wooden frame. Cosens will be at Westland Gallery from 12-4pm during December 1st and 2nd for his Pop Up.
