Collage with Sarah Cowling
Date & Time: Thursday June 30th, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
In this class I will talk briefly about the history of collage, famous collage artists, different ways of creating collage and present a few samples of my own work. There will be two collage activities to try. The first will be making playing card collages, which are often used for trading amongst groups of collage artists. We will create 3 or 4 playing card collages, trading optional. Secondly participants will create a 9x11inch collage that tells a story or explores a feeling. There will be lots of opportunity to ask questions and develop personal approaches.
