
Danielle Hoevenaars is an emerging artist based in London, Ontario. Working primarily in ceramics, Danielle has been a member of the London Clay Art Centre since 2015 and has showcased her work in the centre’s Potters Market as well as in exhibitions at Westland Gallery in London Ontario and at Arts at the Albion in Gravenhurst, Ontario. She has completed a series of ceramic tile works inspired by maps, primarily bathymetry maps. Her sculptural ceramics look at creativity and human relationships, often through imagery of hands.
Danielle obtained her Bachelor of Arts, Fine Arts Studio Thesis degree (Honours) from the University of Waterloo in 2014. She acted as Student to Curator Liaison during the planning and installation of the fourth-year thesis exhibition, “Blank Slate.”
