Curtis Doherty: Disrupted realism

Curtis is a Canadian contemporary artist currently residing in Ontario.

After graduating with honours from Sheridan College, he has developed bodies of work that have highlighted being shown in North America and across Europe. Curtis creates work to evoke question into the viewer, using imagery to spawn a dialogue of pondering and the desire to search for an answer. The use of disrupted realism creates a connection between the tangible and the intangible; a space for the imagination. In compliment to that, he holds technical ability to a high standard with a deep knowledge in colour theory and composition. 

Teaching is also in his skill set, leading lessons, workshops, studies, high school lectures, as well as having taught at the University of Pristina.
