Artist Talk: TBD
Images coming soon!
Jeanette Obbink, based in Paris, ON Canada, works in oil and watercolour.
Impressionistic and suggestively realistic in style, her work reflects her love for nature & the environment. Bold in colour and size, she captures time and space in an array of colours that made one viewer call her work “Monet on steroids”, a compliment as far as Jeanette is concerned. Others have compared her work to some of the Group of Seven.
Jeanette paints plein air, as well as in her studio and her paintings can be found in many private and permanent collections.

Ralph Heather is a visual artist living in Paris, Ontario, focused on original printmaking using the traditional techniques of hand-cut linoleum, woodcuts or etchings, which are hand-printed by the artist. He also explores other art mediums such as drawing, watercolour and acrylic painting. In his work he weaves visual cues and stories together using the best medium to express them. Enjoying the mechanical possibilities and challenges of hand-pulled original printmaking, the tactile feeling of wood and ink, the flow of painting and drawing, and the excitement of watching his ideas come to life.
